The RMG 322 gas pressure regulator is a Direct-acting Gas Pressure Regulator with Incorporated Direct-acting SSV. In RMG 322, the governed production force is driven from the point of measurement to the bottom of the diaphragm. This measures the true peak stress and compares it with the adjustable spring voltage system. Each difference influences the location of the key valve directly through the sequence of the valve. As a result of the current changes, the actual performance stress is compared to the setpoint value. The system absolutely sticks to zero usage.The output energy is regulated by the SAV control unit at the reference point (internal or external). When the standard release values are hit, the SAV diaphragm sensor travels to the proper release position with the tripping device, the ball release mechanism releases the valve rod and the SAV regulator screws.
